I’m sure you’ve seen an inkjet printer before. Shirts’N Giggles custom printed tshirts are printed in a similar fashion, but with commercial printing machines that drive the ink deeply into the fabric (rather than just surface coat as an inkjet printer does) and much hardier inks meant to withstand washing time after time. Please note that the printing preparation process can leave a faint smell on the garment, which will fade with washing.

The short answer is, yes, over time your TShirt will fade. How much, and how long it takes depends on you. There are many variables at play in this question – most of them are under your control. The frequency of washing, hardness of water, soap/detergent formulation, temperature of water used, amount of additives in the water from your municipality (such as chlorine or bromium used to treat bacteria content), amount of agitation, drying method (air dry, heat dry, line dry), all come into play. The quality of the Shirts’N Giggles garment, the printing process, and the inks used give you a really good starting point, but in the end, its how you have cared for your shirt that makes the difference.

A ‘Heather Fabric’ refers to garments with interwoven yarns of mixed colors producing flecks of an alternate color. It is typically used to mix multiple shades of grey or grey with another color to produce a muted shade (e.g., heather green), but any two colors can be mixed, including bright colors.

Typically, orders are produced within 2-7 business days of being accepted at the printshop. While the Shirts’N Giggles website accepts orders 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, the printshop itself does not staff itself these same hours. Generally, we see orders completing in about 3 days after the printshop acknowledges it – however seasonal shopping cycles, and the size of an order do affect the production times. Delivery (Shipping) times are in addition to the production time. Please plan accordingly.

Once your order is produced, it is submitted to the shipping company, based on your preferred/paid shipping method. We all are at the mercy of the shipping companies unfortunately. Even during heavy periods when the printshop may run 6 or 7 days per week, the shipping companies will run on their own schedules, and must deal with the provincial/state/federal limitations on what they can do and when. Please note that the shipping times quoted to you when you placed your order begin when the shipping company picks up your order, even though details on your shipping documents may become available before your package has been picked up. These times will be based on historical delivery success, and not include any unforseen situations that may occur. Customs charges are imposed by the country which your product is being shipped to, and outside the control of Shirts’N Giggles. They will be charged as your product crosses international borders by the relevant authority. Depending on the shipping method chosen, it may be able to be assessed in advance or it may be an additional charge (a tarrif) levied at the border. Its a very complex, and dynamic situation which involves the carrier, and may even involve your personal import history, which obviously we have no insight into. Shirts’N Giggles will always mark our packages with the exact content in compliance with import/export regulations to ensure that the appropriate tarrif can be applied, if required.
